This Tired Sea Turtle Setting For A Nap Is Our Spirit Animal
I Thought You Might Like The Yawn
A beautiful video has emerged from the bottom of the ocean. Thanks to Jace Green, this video of a tired sea turtle setting for a nap is going viral. It has managed to get over 4 million views in 4 days.
Quiet and graceful, ranging from a small ball size to a larger loggerhead or the largest green, turtles help usually make every dive more memorable one. They can be found in all oceans except for the polar regions, and are believed to have been on this planet for more than 100 million years — since the dawn of the dinosaurs.
On your next scuba diving, consider yourself lucky if you get to see one. Because four of the seven species of sea turtles are considered to be “endangered” or “critically endangered.”
Diving with Sea Turtle Never Gets Old
Jace – a professional underwater cameraman – has been working for Sea Safari Cruises for nearly 3 years. A company that specialise in Live Aboard dive trips. I believe that the best cameraman is one who recognises the source, the story, as the basis of his work. Well, Jace has been in this field since 2005. Thailand for 6 years and Indonesia for 5 years, mostly in the South East Asian region.
“It was totally by accident really. I posted the video originally 3 years ago on Jan the 2nd and not much happened with it. It popped up again on my time line this week as a Facebook Memory. So I shared it to a few underwater video and photography groups. Then it kicked off.”
